Smith and Nephew Skin-Prep Protective Spray 4oz is a liquid film-forming dressing that, upon application to intact skin, forms a protective film to help reduce friction during removal of tapes and films. Skin-Prep can also be used to prepare skin attachment sites for drainage tubes, external catheters, surrounding ostomy sites and adhesive dressings.

After trying many professional treatments and suggestions, I tried Skin Prep. I had it sprayed directly on the sore. Hospital tape was applied over the Skin Prep. In 2 weeks the sore was healed.

This stuff is amazing! My husband uses Optune, and skin prep has been a game changer for his array bandages. Before we found skin prep, the bandages would start coming off after a day due to sweating. When I removed them, I always felt like his skin was coming with it, and his scalp was getting irritated. The bandages were gummy. Now, with skin prep, better adhesion, less irritation, and the bandages come off with less stress to his skin. Awesome product!
