Molnlycke Mepilex Lite 4" X 4" 5/bx 284190 is a thin and highly conformable foam dressing that absorbs exudates and maintains a moist wound environment. The Safetac® layer seals around the wound edges preventing exudates from leaking onto the surrounding skin, thus minimizing the risk for maceration. The Safetac® layer ensures atraumatic dressing changes. Mepilex® Lite can be cut to suit various wound shapes and locations.

Atraumatic to the wound and surrounding skin upon removal.
Promotes patient comfort during wear and minimizes pain upon removal.
Minimizes the risk of maceration.
Conforms well to body contours.
Thin and comfortable to wear.
Easy to handle and may be cut for customization.
Maintains a moist wound environment.
May be left in place during radiation therapy.
Consists of a soft, silicone, wound-contact layer, a thin flexible absorbent pad of polyurethane foam and an outer film that is vapour permeable and waterproof.
May be cut to suit various wound shapes and difficult-to-dress locations.

My ten month old son is going in for his second open heart surgery in the next few weeks. He has a G-Tube placement for feeds and the product is thin enough to put over in between his skin and button. Such a blessing to have found this!

My husband frequently scrapes the skin on his shin. Through the years it was injured often while getting into the crane as he is an amputee. Other bandages would stick and tear the skin even more. The Mepilex never sticks and the wound heals much faster.

I LOVE this product. We first used this foam dressing provided from doctor's office. I then tried some other dressings that were bulky and less adhesive. Not only do these dressings work as advertised, my order has always arrived sooner than predicted.
