Product Description

The Bayer Contour diabetes test strips box of 50 are intended for use with the Contour Blood Glucose Meter only. This diabetes meter features a large memory, saving up to 240 tests that are recorded by date and time. The large screen is easy to read and the meter works quickly and accurately.

Bayer Contour Features:

  • No Coding Required:
    These diabetes test strips automatically calibrate the blood glucose meter each time new Contour test strips are used so there is no coding required. Automatic calibration ensures accurate results every time with fewer steps.
  • Sip-in Sampling:
    New "Sip-in Sampling" technology ensures the right amount of blood is quickly wicked onto the strip.
  • Small Sample Size:
    Contour Test Strips need only a very small drop of blood for proper blood glucose test results. Just 0.6 microliters of blood are required for precise results.
  • Alternate Site Testing:
    Contour test strips can be used for testing alternate sites, such as the palm, or forearm. Utilizing alternate site testing may reduce pain caused by repetitive testing on the same area.
  • 5 Second Test Results:
    The test results are ready in merely 5 seconds.

WOW! Came on a timely basis and a real pleasure to use. Do not need a pint of blood to get a result. I feel they are totally affordable. I have been using the Bayer Contour for a number of years and have been very happy. Locally, the Contour was upgraded to the Contour Next and those test strips, of course, could not be used with my current glucometer, so I purchased the Contour Next. Do not like it as well and very pleased I found ADW Diabetes, so I could get the strips I needed.

The product is good. The price continues to climb even with a 5% discount. If it gets any higher I may have to buy something else. Price was my main reason for buying since accur and the big brands charge $110 for 50 and not all insurance covers it.
