Can I use the Dexcom G7 sensor and transmitter with Dexcom G6 components?

No, the Dexcom G7 line is not compatible with the Dexcom G6 line, and they should not be used simultaneously.

Where on my body can I insert the Dexcom G7 sensor?

Dexcom recommends that children and adults ages 2 and over insert the G7 sensor on the back of the upper arm for the best performance. Alternatively, children ages 2-6 may have better results inserting the sensor on the upper buttocks. Insertion sites of the Dexcom G7 transmitter and sensor should be changed with each new application.

Should I view my readings on the Dexcom G7 Receiver or a smart device?

Both options perform similar functions. Some people prefer to have a dedicated device, while others prefer to use their smartphone or tablet. The Dexcom G7 Receiver is designed specifically to be integrated into the Dexcom G7 CGM system, so it’s guaranteed to provide optimal functionality and performance.

How do I start a new Dexcom G7 sensor?

Before starting a new sensor, you must end the current session (or grace period). The Dexcom G7 transmitter and sensor will automatically provide an alert when the grace period ends, or you can end your session manually.

Perfect for my teacup Yorkie

My sweet boy was recently diagnosed with diabetes and these syringes have made things so much easier and virtually pain-free. I administer insulin twice daily typically during his meal instead of after and he doesn't flinch. He's such a good boy and the syringes make it easier to stick him each day twice a day.
