Ceramide reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL) from eroded and damaged skin. The skin barrier protects the skin and maintains excellent peristomal skin health. Users can use the skin barrier with other pouches from New Image, which include drainable, closed, high output, and urostomy products. The skin barrier also features adhesive properties. The skin barrier is made for extended wear, allowing users to wear it for several days.
