Product Description

The Microlet Next lancing device was designed to help minimize pain for those who want to test with confidence. This lancet has five clearly visible depth settings and a smooth-gliding mechanism to minimize noise. The locking endcap helps prevent accidental lancing. When you're done with the lancets, the easy-to-use lancet ejector makes it easier to discard the lancet in a suitable waste disposal container.

How to Use the Microlet Next Lancing Device:

Prepare the Lancing device.

  1. Wash hands and designated puncture site with soap and warm water. Dry Well.
  2. Unlock the endcap of the lancing device.
  3. Twist the white band so the white raised mark and black indented mark line up.
  4. Pull the endcap off.
  5. Loosen the round protective cap on the lancet by rotating the cap 1/4 turn, but do not remove the cap.
  6. Insert the lancet firmly into the lancet device and push until the lancet comes to a complete stop.
  7. Carefully twist off the round protective cap and save the cap for disposing of the used lancet.

Get the Blood Drop From the Finger tip

  1. Once the lancet device is set up, rotate the endcap dial to adjust the puncture depth. The amount of pressure applied to the puncture site also affects puncture depth.
  2. Lock the endcap and twist the white band until you hear or feel a click. The white and black raised marks line up as shown.
  3. Rotate the endcap dial to adjust the puncture depth. The amount of pressure applied to the puncture site also affects puncture depth. 1 is the shallowest puncture and 5 is the deepest puncture.
  4. Pull back and reset the handle to prepare the lancing device. The release button is raised when the lancing device is primed.
  5. Press the lancing device firmly against the side of the finger and press the release button until the device clicks. If the lancing device does not puncture, repeat step 4.
  6. Stroke your hand and finger toward the puncture site to form a drop of blood. Do not squeeze the puncture site.
  7. Test immediately after you have formed a small, round blood drop.
  8. Once you have take the blood glucose test, wipe the puncture site with a clean, dry tissue and maintain pressure on the site until the bleeding stops.

Great lancing device at a cheap price!

The Microlet Next Lancing Device is a great device for the price. Other devices that use the Microlet lancets are way more expensive and do the same thing. I would recommend this device if you need a replacement.
