The UltiCare Syringes by Ulti Med are made specifically for your pet. Many veterinarians are now prescribing Protamine & Porcine Zinc Insulin (PZI & Vetsulin) known as U-40.
  • U-100 insulin has 100 units of active insulin in each milliliter (ml) of liquid
  • U-40 insulin has 40 units of active insulin in each milliliter (ml) of liquid
Though not a diluted form of insulin, U-40 is weaker, thus allowing for larger, more easily measurable doses for small animals. The UltiCare syringe allows for more simplified and accurate dosing of U-40 medications, without complicated mathematical conversions, giving diabetic pet owners an ease-of-use and level of accuracy that had not been available until now.

Smaller volume insulin syringes have a barrel that holds less volume. This feature makes it easier to draw in the proper amount of insulin.

The slower than hoped delivery may not be ADW's fault; but the order that was shipped on Tuesday, Monday the 26th did not arrive until Monday June 1st. I had expected to receive it by Saturday May 30. I ended up buying a box of syringes on Saturday from my vet to maintain my cat's insulin injection schedule.

Not sharp enough

Switched to these because the brand I used was unavailable. My dog backed away when approaching him because these cause discomfort. Used BD which are great and BD makes syringes for human use too.

I have used these syringes for my diabetic cat's insulin injections for over a year. They are uniformly well made, packaged and protected well and make a trying ritual for me and my cat as easy as it can be. The syringes are marked clearly and easy to load 'read'.
