People with diabetes can rely on the True Metrix brand for cutting-edge blood glucose meters and test strips that are easy to use. Self-monitoring is essential to verify blood glucose levels are not too high or too low. These meters feature advanced event tags that empower the user to make the important connection between his or her personal lifestyle choices and the results. Users can make educated decisions about their blood sugar test results to actively manage diabetes.
True Metrix Meter No Coding Required
Many blood glucose meters require manual coding prior to use. Failure to code the meter or making a mistake can lead to inaccurate blood glucose measurements and inappropriate treatment. The True Metrix blood glucose meter with no coding technology automatically matches the test strips to eliminate the possibility of miscoding. The results are more accurate when compared to manually coded meter. The True Metrix meter is easier to use, saves time, and offers the highest level of convenience.
Fast Results
People with diabetes want fast results so there is no waiting to find out what their blood glucose levels are. This helps them to manage hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia immediately to avoid further complications. Additionally, the triple sense technology provides impressive accuracy. It automatically detects, as well as analyzes and corrects, the variables in blood samples.
Small Sample Size & Alternative Site Testing
A smaller sample size makes it possible for the user to conduct alternative site testing. It can be painful to continue drawing blood from the fingertip or the side of the fingers. With a small sample size, diabetes patients can get relief by drawing blood from a less painful spot. This includes accessible body areas such as the forearm or the palm of the hand.
Storing Hundreds of Results and Averaging
The True Metrix blood glucose meter conveniently stores 500 hundred results. Keeping track of this many results makes it easier to detect patterns. These patterns can help a diabetes patient’s health care team make necessary adjustments to avoid extreme highs and lows. Averaging reveals the usual blood glucose level of the user to help determine if his or her self-management routine may need to be adjusted. The meter offers 7, 14, 30, 60 and 90 day averaging to accommodate the patient’s medical exam schedule.
Event Tagging
The True Metrix meter makes it easy to tag blood sugar results and link them to various events. This includes a test taken before a meal, after a meal, during or after exercise, when taking medication, and when you are sick. An event tag can be used for any reason that indicates that the test is different, such as feeling stressed or menstruation. It acts as a reminder of the condition that existed that may contribute to the results being different.
Reminders Make a Difference
Four testing reminder alarms let the user know when something requires attention. This makes it possible to more accurately monitor your blood glucose levels and address any issues that arise. The True Metrix meter also has features such as a ketone reminder, control detection, and audible fill detection to keep users on track.
Strip Release Button
Handling a strip after testing can have an impact on its accuracy. The True Metrix blood glucose meter has a handy strip release button. The strip is released after testing to eliminate the need for unnecessary handling after testing your blood sugar levels.
Downloading is a Breeze
A downloading option makes it a breeze to have data about your glycemic control right at your fingertips. This modern blood glucose meter features Bluetooth smart connectivity. This information can be accessed for days, weeks, and months as well as shared during medical appointments. Gain immediate access to the frequency of your testing, blood glucose averages and variability, and more. This can help users to identify trends, adjust activities as needed, avoid hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia, and attain improved glycemic control.

I have received 3 straight mornings with the exact same reading (number). Does this mean my True Metrix Air needs to be reset?
Hello David,
Please consult a physician and contact Trividia to troubleshoot. They can be reached at 1-800-342-7226.
On average I have a 15-20’% error message on test strips. I have had diabetes for 20years and this is the worse experience on testing. Unfortunately this is what my Florida Blue insurance allows….. What to do?
Hello Don,
Please contact the manufacturer, Trividia, to troubleshoot. They can be reached at 1-800-342-7226.
I have had my meter several years. Recently replaced battery. Consistently getting E-3 error code. I have misplaced my manual, and do not know what the problem is.
Hello DeAnne,
An E-3 error code is likely referring to a used test strip. Please see these FAQs from the manufacturer: https://carehere.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/true-metrix-frequently-asked-questions.pdf
Thanks for a great product at a greater price.
Received in a very short time.
When I went to true Metrix my reading got higher. I was using relion from walmart which gave me lower readings.
I found that the True Metrix Meter is easy to use and affordable. No issues with errors or results.
I have found this to be very accurate and easy to use including the blue tooth transfer, which was trickey the first time.
I think True Metrix readings are inaccurate because I got 118 post-prandial then 3 hours later 153 & I had eaten no carbs. Only steak. I’ve had it for a month and most of the readings are high. Now I’m suspicious of all the readings.
How do I use bluetooth technology to download my meter results
