The American Diabetes Association and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation do a lot in the way of raising money and awareness for the cure of Diabetes. They help give a voice to those who do not have the means to speak up or speak out. They are there to help raise funds and get donations to fund the research for a cure. That is why we are creating a team for the local ADA Step Out to Fight Diabetes in Fort Lauderdale, FL on October 27, 2007.
We are looking to raise over $2,000 from the individuals on the ADW team. Our employees are not only dedicated to the work that they do in the office; they also show their dedication to Diabetes by volunteering to walk in these local events. It is more than just showing up the day of the walk also, our staff here is also out collecting donations before the event occurs to bring in even more money to donate to the ADA.
By volunteering at these walks and offering supplies at such low costs, we are trying to do everything that we can do to speed up the process of finding a cure, but in the meantime providing the supplies that are needed to keep diabetes self-management affordable.
If you would like to help Team ADW Power Walkers raise the funds to donate to the ADA, you’ll help in the fight to cure Diabetes.
