The Gentleheel® heel incision device provides a safe and efficient means for acquiring blood samples from the heels of newborns. It utilizes an automated lancing mechanism that delivers a smooth incision with less trauma to the heel. It features a tri-bevel and hardened stainless steel blade that generates a less traumatic and more accurate incision as well as a welded casing to help prevent accidental exposure to the blade.
