ADW Diabetes is involved in the diabetes community and proudly supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the American Diabetes Association, the American Association of Diabetes Educators and Eye Care for Kids.

ADW Works with Free Clinics

Free clinics throughout the country are dedicated to providing care to those who are in need. The majority of clinics are non-profit organizations funded by donations, and some grant money to accomplish their goals: blood tests, blood glucose screenings, providing prescription medications, and in some cases, providing diabetes testing supplies.

Today, November 14, 2007, marks the first World Diabetes Day, a campaign launched by the United Nations to officially recognize diabetes as a major threat to the health of people globally. The rising numbers of children afflicted with Type 1 Diabetes is of special concern, as it grows 3% annually for schoolchildren and adolescents, and a startling 5% for children of pre-school age.

American Diabetes Wholesale at the ADA Walk

On Saturday October 20, 2007 American Diabetes Wholesale volunteered at the ADA's Step Out walk in West Palm Beach, FL. Approximately 300-400 people showed up to walk and show their support for the fight against Diabetes.
