Quit Using Spot Glucose Checks

Recently I’ve had interactions with 2 clients who use “spot checks” to decide on their pets’ long-term dosing of insulin. Now, I am a huge fan of home glucose monitoring. I think it is often more accurate that the results obtained in a vet hospital – provided that the glucose meter is calibrated for the species.
